October 8 announcement supersedes the earlier pre-Season 2 plan.
The October 19 official v2.1 notice says PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S received optimizations to improve overall stability. It does not name a shooting, passing, defense, Badge, build, VC, reward, PC, or Nintendo Switch 2 change. Do not treat a stability notice as a balance or progression patch.
v2.0 is the earlier broader October 8 update. Its announcement names shooting, passing, defense, steals, dribbling, 25-year MyCAREER Eras careers, and Crew REP/XP work. Those claims belong to v2.0, not v2.1. Check the version shown by your platform before using a specific patch note.
Confirm your platform and installed build, then use the named v2.0 system notes. The v2.0 announcement gave different delivery windows, not one universal release time.
The September 17 gameplay announcement instructed players to return to the Main Menu with no download. That instruction belonged to that update; it does not prove that v2.0 requires no download. The older 1.4 record below remains historical.
The official September 3 note names four areas: improved City stability, friends moved to the top of the Social Menu while in lobbies, a FIBA offseason MyCAREER progression blocker fixed, and PlayStation 5 DualSense Edge controller support on Steam. Those are the complete named v1.4 items used here.
The published v1.4 entry does not list shooting-window changes, Badge requirement changes, animation-threshold changes or a new best-build meta. Community impressions cannot be promoted into those claims without a disclosed current test.
v1.4 — September 3, 2026 — official — verified September 6 — City, Social Menu, MyCAREER and Steam controller support. v1.3 — August 31, 2026 — official — Takeover balance, matchmaking, Crew progression, REC, Auction House and other fixes. v1.2 — August 28, 2026 — official — MyTEAM buyout search, PC keybinding and general stability.
A specialist guide changes only when the official note names its system or a reproducible current test documents the effect. Patch 1.4 links to City and MyCAREER because those systems are named; it does not rewrite the shooting, Badge or build owners.
Season 2 is live, but a season program is not automatically a numbered gameplay patch. Keep its rewards and event information separate from the v2.1 stability notice and the broader v2.0 patch ledger.
Confirm your platform and installed version on the official update surface.
Use v2.1 only for its named PS5/Xbox Series stability scope; leave unnamed systems unchanged.
Use the separate v2.0 entry when you need its named gameplay or progression notes.
The latest official entry is v2.1, dated October 19. It lists stability optimizations for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The official v2.1 notice does not list gameplay, build, Badge, VC, or reward changes. This page does not infer them from a stability update.
The v2.1 notice names PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S only. It does not establish v2.1 coverage for PC or Nintendo Switch 2.
v2.1 is a limited console stability notice. The earlier v2.0 announcement names gameplay changes, MyCAREER Eras work, and Crew REP/XP changes; do not move those claims into v2.1.
The official entry lists PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
It names City stability, Social Menu friend ordering in lobbies, a FIBA offseason MyCAREER blocker and DualSense Edge support on Steam.
No shooting or Badge tuning is listed in the official v1.4 note, so this page does not claim either changed.
The August 31 v1.3 note covered matchmaking, Takeover balance, Crew XP and REP, Fire & Concrete progression, City progression, REC, Auction House and PC mod tools.
v2.0 has now been announced with a platform-specific schedule. Check the official notice and your installed build rather than assuming simultaneous availability.
